Earlier this year I started playing Witcher 3, I know really bad of me to play this masterpiece 3 years after its release but I wasn't disappointed. I also had access to the downloadable content being "Hearts of stone" and "blood and wine" probably the best piece of downloadable content ever hands down. During the time of playing it got me thinking what else CD Project red has in store and Cyberpunk came to mind, but at the time all the news we had of the game was that short teaser trailer. Which at this point has been out for almost 5 years and it didn't give us much information about the game.
According to CD project red the reason we had heard nothing about this game in 5 years was because of the Witcher 3 and its downloadable content, they wanted to deliver the best they could with the additional content and really focus on finishing the witcher properly. They did deliver in 2016 "blood and wine" had won game of the year and it was well deserved. Only after this could production start on cyberpunk 2077 according to CD project red but still we had nothing till E3 2018. Where at the end of Microsoft's press conference we got our first cyberpunk trailer and they finally felt like talking about the game and we found out so many things about the game.
Even though the only gameplay we got was shown behind close doors I still had high hopes for this game. Till today that same behind closed doors footage was released to the public. A full 48 minutes of cyberpunk to be seen and it was definitely worth the wait. I have played many games in my years as a gamer and the first thing you notice is how lively the world is. It just looked so real and vibrant and I wanted to live in this world that is Night city. The gun play was so smooth and just didn't seem like a typical first person shooter. There was also lots of different guns shown off and all of them just looked so good to use. The cyber abilities also added a really cool way to traverse the city like wall running and double jumping and being able to slow down time to add new ways to take out bad guys. Theres so many good things I have to say about this game, it literally hit every point for me on a high and I makes me really excited to play this game when its finally released.
I know its really to early to be able to tell but this looked so polished and well done, I have been waiting for anything on this game and it has been worth the wait and i'm willing to wait for CD project red to deliver another masterpiece.
